The Rydal II is, like its predecessor, a 14L stand mount/bookshelf model but that’s where the similarities end. This is an all-new loudspeaker using a fresh set of drive units and a completely re-designed crossover network.
The main unit is a 17cm chassis with a proprietary polypropylene cone and the tweeter is the 26mm soft dome that is used in our flagship floorstanders. These are blended together with a very sophisticated, low-Q eight-element crossover filter which ensures exact and accurate phase response across most of the frequency band. The stereo image produced by the Rydal is extremely stable over a wide listening area.
