This new version of our most popular loudspeaker improves on the original in every way. The cabinet is now made from 18mm MDF (the MKI used 15mm), and the crossover is a more advanced 2nd/3rd order circuit using high-grade, low tolerance components.
The drive units are all new too: the bass-mid driver is a 150mm cast chassis with a proprietary polypropylene cone and the tweeter is a 26mm fine-weave soft dome with a cast aluminium front plate. As before, the level of performance of the Aurical is way beyond what is expected from a speaker of this size and price with remarkable bass and Westbrookâs trademark stereo soundstaging.
