Sitting half-way between the Mimin and the Maxim, the Mezzo uses a 170mm bass driver and a 29mm soft dome tweeter. Still compact at less than 76cm tall, the speakers have increased bass extension and power handling over the Minim and a smooth, detailed and refined treble response.
The LF driver is a high-end unit that uses a mineral-filled polypropylene cone in a vented cast aluminium chassis with excellent transient response. The tweeter is a wide surround fabric dome with an elastomer waveguide and the crossover has been designed for optimal power response for a wider “sweet spot”.
